Finding Your Own “Why”: Creating for the Soul First
Posted in :

Right now, on this quiet morning, my mind is unquiet. I am searching deep inside. I want to turn my thoughts into something meaningful. But dear reader, I don’t want to make this heavier than life has already felt these past months. I don’t usually write morning pages, but life is short, and we never know when our time might come.
That is why I caught myself thinking about how lucky I truly am. Being here, writing and connecting with you, brings a breath of fresh air to my mind. However, a question suddenly crossed my thoughts: why do we spend so much energy living for others? It is time to start creating for yourself and embracing what truly pulses in your heart.
The Exhaustion of Pleasing the World
Producing solely to meet the expectations of the world is deeply exhausting. Many of us fall into this trap daily without noticing. This text serves as a gentle reminder for you and me. We should do more of what makes our eyes shine.
Choosing your own path does not remove the rocks from the middle of the road. However, it gives true purpose and meaning to your journey, no matter what challenges you face.

Facing Your Own “Why”

This brings us to the core question: what is your true Why?
Why do we constantly run away from our own truth? In many ways, it seems easier to carry the opinions, expectations, and burdens of others. It feels simpler than facing our own unique story. When we carry other people’s weights, we avoid our own choices.
Nevertheless, the one responsibility you can never escape is yourself.
A Gentle Invitation to Start Today
This post is my personal commitment to slow down. I aim to create things that bring genuine joy to my soul. I will not worry about an audience first.
Give yourself that same chance, my dear friend. You are truly worth it. Take what resonates with your heart today and simply disregard the rest.
